Why Engineering + German?
Like the overall economy, engineering is becoming more internationally focused. The combination of a comprehensive and demanding engineering education with a deep knowledge and understanding of intercultural relations will make for well-educated, highly employable individuals who possess excellent job and foreign language skills as well as the ability to operate successfully in international, multicultural work settings. Engineers with foreign language skills and international experience are in high demand, as companies operate globally or seek to nurture new international markets.
Currently there are more than 80 German firms that incorporate engineering in their business operations with offices in Georgia. Some of these are well known firms such as Porsche, Mercedes Benz, Siemens, while others are less well known to the general public but still offer great opportunities for a professional career.
