This
“Embedded Robotics” course had been taught at UGA by Chi Thai every Spring
semester since Spring 2010, starting in Spring 2012, this course is also being
taught to National Taiwan University (NTU) students with Drs. Yan-Fu Kuo and
Ping-Lang Yen as co-instructors.
Carbot in Maze

This
assignment was the first student experience into autonomous behavior by
modifying an existing code for a carbot avoiding
finite obstacles to a carbot navigating a small maze
(which was in a way a continuous series of obstacles). Students created a single piece of code that
could handle a fork or a cul-de-sac in the maze.
