Description

The center is used to develop decision support systems for decision making in agricultural, biological, aquacultural, and environmental systems. These decision support systems may incorporate techniques from operations research and artificial intelligence such as simulation, neural networks, logic, pattern recognition, and genetic algorithms.

Projects

  • Conncurrent decision methodology and computer based Decision Systems (Verma)
  • Development of fuzzy logic control and natural language/icon based human interface specifications for advanced in-home storage of produce (Verma)
  • Institutional Aquacultural Development in Honduras: A Multi-Disciplinary Approach (Verma)
  • Estimation of localized historical meteorological data using computational intelligence
  • Identification of land use from remote images using computational intelligence
  • Estimation of irrigation water use using computational intelligence
