Appointed Faculty
Individuals employed as College of Engineering faculty members.
Affiliate Faculty Members
Individuals in another UGA unit or in industry, government, NGOs or other academic institutions who exhibit capability to contribute to engineering programs in teaching, research or service/outreach and who apply for and are accepted for membership.
Founding Adjunct Faculty
Individuals who were appointed or adjunct faculty of the Biological and Agricultural Engineering Department, College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, and did not transfer into the new College of Engineering.
Adjunct Faculty
Individuals who are not CENGR Appointed Faculty or Affiliate Faculty (e.g., from industry, government, other academic institutions or NGOs or a UGA faculty member from another UGA academic unit) who exhibit capability for scholarly contributions to engineering programs in teaching, research or service/outreach and wish to have an official appointment in the College of Engineering. The appointment, rank and faculty track (i.e. professorial track, research track, academic professional track, or public service track) will be determined using CENGR Guidelines for Adjunct Appointments and UGA Guidelines and Policies.
