The University of Georgia College of Engineering Outreach Service is a unit of the University of Georgia College of Engineering, a university-wide academic unit with more than 100 faculty members from twenty-four departments across eight schools and colleges.
The mission of The College of Engineering Outreach Service is to enable industries, communities and agencies to improve their profitability, sustainability and competitiveness by providing technical assistance, education and practical solutions. The Outreach Service assists with on-site assessments, technical assistance, research and development and technology transfer.
Since 1994 the College of Engineering Outreach Service has served Georgia industry and business throughout the agricultural, manufacturing, food processing, textile and pulp and paper industries with assistance in environmental and energy related issues.
