The Faculty of Engineering is a university-wide academic unit at the University of Georgia, organized to capture the convergence of engineering with
the arts, sciences and humanities. Employing the principles of entrepreneurship, boundarylessness, networking and lifelong learning, the UGA Faculty of Engineering creates an educational organization that reaches beyond traditional discipline-based instruction to create a responsive learning organization. Programs evolving in this environment are simultaneously inspired by use and the quest for knowledge and provide an interdisciplinary context for engineering teaching, research and outreach activities at UGA.
