From the north
From Interstate 85 (I-85), exit south on US 441 (Commerce exit). Travel approximately 30 minutes south to the Athens Loop 10. Turn left (east) on the Athens Loop (US 441 & 10) and continue to the College Station Road exit. Turn right on College Station (west) and follow the signs to the campus Visitors and Information Center, or continue to Driftmier Engineering Center (see below).
From the west
From Atlanta's perimeter (I-285), exit to Interstate 85 north (I-85). Continue north on I-85 and exit east onto GA 316. Continue on GA 316 to Athens. At the end of GA 316, exit south onto the Athens Loop ( US 78/10). Exit on College Station Road and turn left (west) and follow the signs to the campus Visitors and Information Center, or continue to Driftmier Engineering Center (see below).
From the south
From Interstate 20 (I-20), exit north onto US 441. Continue north on US 441 to the Athens Loop. Follow the loop (US 441 & 10) and exit on College Station Road. Turn left (west) and follow the signs to the campus Visitors and Information Center, or continue to Driftmier Engineering Center (see below).
Driftmier Engineering Center
From the Athens Loop, take the College Station Road exit and head west. After crossing the railroad tracks, take a right at the second traffic light on Agriculture Drive. Driftmier Engineering Center is located on the right approximately 1 mile North of the intersection.
From Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport
Upon leaving airport travel south on I85 to I285. Go East to I75 and travel south. Exit on US 19 and go south about 20 miles to intersection where Ga 92 joins US 19 (Use left lane after passing the Howard Johnson and the Best Western Motel. Turn left at the light and travel East on East MacIntosh Road. Go through the first light and the road becomes Experiment Street. After the flashing red light go over railroad tracks and turn right after 100 yards into main entrance to the Griffin Campus. Drive between two brick buildings (Flynt and Stuckey) and take first left. The Engineering building is 50 yards on the right.
From northeast of Griffin [Athens, McDonough]
Leave Athens by traveling West on US 78. In Monroe take GA 138 West to Conyers. From Conyers take GA 20 past McDonough to I75. Go South to GA 16 and travel west to Griffin. Join with US 19 Business and travel through town. Turn right to stay on US 19 Business and travel North to Ellis Road. Turn right and go 1/4 mile to entrance of Griffin Campus on left. The first building on the right is the BAE facility.
From the southeast [Macon]
Exit I75 and travel west on GA 16 to Griffin. Join with US 19 Business and travel through town. Turn right to stay on US 19 Business and travel North to Ellis Road. Turn right and go 1/4 mile to entrance of Griffin Campus on left. The first building on the right is the Engineering facility.
From the southwest [Albany]
Travel to Griffin on US 19. Use bypass around town. Turn right at light where GA 92 turns left. Travel East on East MacIntosh Road. Go through the first light and the road becomes Experiment Street. Exit off I-75 South at Exit 64. Turn RIGHT onto US Highway 41 North. Travel approximately 0.2 miles and take the first road to the left which is RDC Road. The Rural Development Center is located on the left. Continuing straight on RDC Road across the railroad tracks to the stop sign, take a left onto Moore Highway. Go straight through the stop light and take a right onto Rainwater Road. Take the second right onto Engineering Drive and the Engineering Building will be on your right.
From the south
Exit off I-75 North at Exit 64. Turn LEFT onto US Highway 41 North. Travel approximately 0.2 miles and take the first road to the left which is RDC Road. The Rural Development Center is located on the left. Continuing straight on RDC Road across the railroad tracks to the stop sign, take a left onto Moore Highway. Go straight through the stop light and take a right onto Rainwater Road. Take the second right onto Engineering Drive and the Engineering Building will be on your right.
