The CENGR is a merger of the Faculty of Engineering and the Department of Bio. and Agri. Engineering into one college with comprehensive offerings.

We are preparing our students for careers devoted to the integration of discoveries from multiple fields so they become leader-engineers in the state and nation.

Donald Leo, a Virginia Tech vice president and former associate dean, has been named dean of the University of Georgia College of Engineering.

Kyle Johnsen highlighted on UGA website

Kudos to CENGR's Assistant Professor Kyle Johnsen, who is featured on the UGA.EDU homepage on research that deals with the reality of obesity in a virtual world. Johnsen's research focuses on helping elementary school children understand the causes and complications of obesity.

Engineering alumni named to 2013 “Bulldog 100″

Four UGA engineering alumni were honored as members of the “2013 Class of Bulldog 100” January 26 at the Marriott Marquis in Atlanta. The event celebrates the designation, which recognizes the 100 fastest growing businesses owned and operated by UGA alumni.
